Your missions 🚀
At Wiremind, the Security team is responsible for protecting our infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and building a strong security culture across the organization. The team handles both technical security and compliance topics, working closely with engineering and operations teams. As a Security Engineer Intern (SecOps), you will work on a diverse range of security topics, combining hands-on technical work with compliance activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Technical Security (SecOps):
Monitoring and responding to security events and alerts across our infrastructure (SOC activities)
Participating in vulnerability management: identification, prioritization, and remediation follow-up
Contributing to penetration testing efforts on our applications and infrastructure
Contributing to security tooling: improving detection rules, automating security processes
Supporting incident response activities and post-mortem analysesAssisting with security reviews of new features and infrastructure change
Compliance & Governance:
Contributing to compliance efforts related to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II frameworks
Helping maintain and improve security policies and documentation
Supporting internal and external audits by gathering evidence and preparing documentationParticipating in risk assessments and security awareness initiatives
What we're looking for 🔍
You are currently pursuing a Master's Degree (stage fin d'études) in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
You have a solid understanding of security fundamentals: network security, system hardening, common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
You are comfortable with Linux environments and have scripting skills (Python, Bash)
You are curious about both technical and organizational security aspects
You have good communication skills and can interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
You are rigorous and detail-oriented, essential qualities for compliance work
Nice to have:
Knowledge of ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 Type II frameworks
Experience with SOC operations: SIEM tools, log analysis, alert triage, threat detection
Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.) or participation in CTFs
Familiarity with cloud environments (Kubernetes, OVHCloud/AWS)
Experience with vulnerability scanners or other security tooling
Previous internship or project experience in security
